San Lorenzo is a corner of central Pisa away from the queues. Narrow streets, the Vettovaglie market a few minutes away, the bars where locals stop. Almost everything is within walking distance.
The region
Tuscany within reach.
From Pisa Centrale, trains run to Lucca and Florence. The sea at Marina di Pisa is twenty minutes by car. The rest of the region is best seen by car; for the city, the bikes in the garden are enough.

Great location! Very central, yet very quiet and private with all the windows opening to a small courtyard garden. We have been waking up to the sound of singing birds in the mornings. Very peaceful! Also very walkable to a lot of restaurants and cafes. Washer and dryer were a big plus as we have been traveling nonstop for a week before we arrived to the place. Will be returning back! Thank you!

How far is the house from the tower? +
The house is in the San Lorenzo area, San Francesco neighbourhood, about 13 minutes' walk from the Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli. The city centre is 500 metres away.
What are the check-in and check-out times? +
Check-in is from 15:00 to 20:00, check-out by 11:00. Let us know your arrival time in advance; for different times, write to us and we'll see what we can do.
Is there parking? +
The house has no private parking. A few steps away there's the public car park on Via Buonarroti, corner of Via San Lorenzo: 21 spaces, €0.75/hour from 8 to 20, free at night. Or Piazza San Paolo all'Orto, free, 3 minutes' walk away.
Are pets allowed? +
Yes, pets are welcome by arrangement. Write to us beforehand so we can get ready.
Is breakfast included? +
No, but the kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, microwave and fridge. Nearby you'll find Bar Katerina and a few pastry shops.

Galileo Galilei airport is 4 km away. Take the PisaMover to Pisa Centrale (5 minutes, €6.50) then walk to the house in 20 minutes, or take a taxi directly (10 minutes, about €15-20).

We welcome you with local wine, water and fresh fruit on the kitchen table. The house has linens, towels, toiletries and Wi-Fi.
Is the area safe and quiet? +
Yes. San Francesco is a quiet, lively university area, with restaurants, bars and shops a few steps away. Quiet hours are from 22 to 8.
Are there restaurants nearby? +
Yes, several close by: Pizzeria SM, Osteria La Grotta, Numeroventi and other neighbourhood trattorias with Italian-only menus, where Pisans eat.
Is the tourist tax included? +
Yes, you pay it together with your stay when you book. In Pisa it is €2.50 per person per night, capped at 5 nights in high season and 3 in low season. Children under 16 are exempt.
